Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Verify the following vehicle conditions:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>All the switches are turned off (except the ignition switch).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All the doors, hood, and trunk are closed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All the doors, and trunk are unlocked.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All the seat belts are unbuckled.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Parking brake lever is pulled.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            3. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.<\/p>\n<p>              a. Select \u201cSelf Test\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>              b. Select \u201cAll CMDTCs\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Verify the DTC according to the directions on the screen.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If any DTCs are displayed, perform troubleshooting according to the corresponding DTC inspection after recording the snapshot data. (See <a href=\"SM355735\">DTC TABLE [BCM]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            5. After completion of repairs, clear all DTCs stored in the BCM. (See <a href=\"SM355734\">CLEARING DTC [BCM]<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id0902f506730002\" id=\"id0902f506730002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>ODDTC Self Test<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.<\/p>\n<p>            2. M-MDS.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<ul type=\"square\">\n<li>\n<p>Vehicle information detected by BCM<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Vehicle information detected by instrument cluster and received by BCM via CAN
