    Disconnect the start stop unit connector.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Is the connector normal?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n INSPECT BCM CONNECTOR CONDITION<\/b><\/p>\n

    Disconnect the BCM connector.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Is the connector normal?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

6<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n INSPECT DOOR LOCK-LINK SWITCH (LH) LOCK CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND<\/b><\/p>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Verify that the door latch and lock actuator (LH), start stop unit and BCM connectors are disconnected.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Inspect for continuity between door latch and lock actuator (LH) terminal D (wiring harness-side) and body ground.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Is there continuity?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Refer to the wiring diagram and verify whether or not there is a common connector between the following terminals:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Door latch and lock actuator (LH) terminal D\u2014BCM terminal 2A<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Start stop unit terminal 1P\u2014Door latch and lock actuator (LH) terminal D<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n If there is a common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
    • \n

      Determine the malfunctioning part by inspecting the common connector and the terminal for corrosion, damage, or pin disconnection, and the common wiring harness for a short to ground.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \n If there is no common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
      • \n

        Repair or replace the wiring harness which has a short to ground.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Go to Step 8.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
