\n INSPECT CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT (CMU) CONNECTOR CONDITION<\/b><\/p>\n

    Disconnect the connectivity master unit (CMU) connector.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Is the connector normal?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 5.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

3<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n INSPECT GPS ANTENNA CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT<\/b><\/p>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Verify that the GPS antenna and connectivity master unit (CMU) connectors are disconnected.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Inspect the wiring harness for continuity between connectivity master unit (CMU) terminal 5A (wiring harness-side) and GPS antenna terminal A (wiring harness-side).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Is there continuity?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Refer to the wiring diagram and verify if there is a common connector between connectivity master unit (CMU) terminal 5A and GPS antenna terminal A.<\/p>\n

    \n If there is a common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
  • \n

    Determine the malfunctioning part by inspecting the common connector and the terminal for corrosion, damage, or pin disconnection, and the common wiring harness for an open circuit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n If there is no common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
    • \n

      Repair or replace the wiring harness which has an open circuit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Go to Step 5.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

4<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS GPS ANTENNA DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Replace the GPS antenna, then go to the next step.<\/p>\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Go to Step 6.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED<\/b><\/p>\n\n

Repeat the inspection from Step 1.<\/p>\n
