When the push button start is pressed, the ignition cannot be switched to ACC or ON (engine off).<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

    \n VERIFY ROOM 25 A FUSE AND INTERIOR 15 A FUSE CONDITIONS<\/b><\/p>\n

    Visually inspect the ROOM 25 A fuse and INTERIOR 15 A fuse for disconnection.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Is there any fuse disconnection?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Install the ROOM 25 A fuse and INTERIOR 15 A fuse, then go to Step 7.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Refer to “steering lock function does not operate” malfunction diagnosis and perform the inspection.<\/p>\n

    Refer to the wiring diagram and verify if there is a common connector between the following terminals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Start stop unit terminal 1H and push button start terminal C<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Start stop unit terminal 2J and push button start terminal I<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        \n If there is a common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
      • \n

        Inspect the common connector and terminals for corrosion, damage, or disconnection and the common wiring harnesses for an open circuit to determine the malfunctioning location.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Repair or replace the malfunctioning location.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          \n If there is no common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
        • \n

          Repair or replace the wiring harness which has an open circuit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n

            \n
          • \n

            After replacement, go to Step 7.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

    \n INSPECT IF MALFUNCTION CAUSE IS OPEN CIRCUIT IN WIRING HARNESS BETWEEN START STOP UNIT AND GROUND<\/b><\/p>\n

    Verify that the start stop unit connector is disconnected.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Inspect for continuity between the following terminals (vehicle wiring harness).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
