    The temperature of the seat warmer cannot be adjusted (temperature level cannot be switched).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    The seat warmer temperature continues to rise.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  • \n

    Seat warmer switch malfunction<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Thermistor (built into seat warmer unit) malfunction<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Seat warmer control unit malfunction<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Short to power supply in wiring harness between the following terminals:<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Seat warmer control unit terminal J and indicator unit terminal D<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  • \n

    Refer to the wiring diagram and verify if there is a common connector between the following terminals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Seat warmer control unit terminal J and indicator unit terminal D<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        \n If there is a common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
      • \n

        Inspect the common connector and terminals for corrosion, damage, or disconnection and the common wiring harnesses for short to power supply to determine the malfunctioning location.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Repair or replace the wiring harness which is shorted to the power supply.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          \n If there is no common connector:<\/b><\/p>\n
        • \n

          Repair or replace the wiring harness which is shorted to the power supply.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n

        • \n

          Go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Replace the seat warmer control unit, then go to the next step.<\/p>\n

    Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Operate the seat warmer switch to turn on the seat warmer system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Does the seat warmer system operate normally?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n

Yes<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

\n

Troubleshooting completed. (Explain the contents of the servicing to the customer.)<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
