Wear protective eye wear.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">WARNING:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When cutting the stay damper, wear protective eye wear to prevent the gas or oil from getting into your eyes. Otherwise, the force of the gas and oil spraying out could lead to injury.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Position the stay damper horizontally.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Drain the gas and oil by cutting the position shown in the figure to a <b>2\u20143 mm {0.08\u20140.11 in}<\/b> depth using a metal saw.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004966.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004966.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Verify that the gas and oil is drained completely by pulling and pushing the piston rod several times with the cut position facing downward.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003161.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003161.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5. Cut off the bottom of the stay damper.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003162.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003162.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6.
