To facilitate installation of the outer mirror glass, orient the outer mirror in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003007.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003007.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Be careful not to overheat the outer mirror, as temperatures higher than <b>60\u00b0C {108\u00b0F}<\/b> deform it.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Installation of the outer mirror glass can be facilitated by heating the outer mirror glass holder to approx. <b>50\u00b0C {90\u00b0F} to 60\u00b0C {108\u00b0F}<\/b> using a drier.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003008.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003008.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Affix the protective tape to the position shown in the figure to prevent scratches and damage.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005862.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005862.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Connect the auto-dimming outer mirror connector. (with auto-dimming outer mirror)<\/p>\n<p>            5. Connect the connectors (with heated outer mirror).<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003810.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003810.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Connect the connector (with blind spot monitoring (BSM) system).<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXZZW00003074.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXZZW00003074.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            7. Install the wiring harness for hooks.<\/p>\n<p>            8. Press in outer mirror pin A and B in the direction of arrows shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003010.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003010.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the outer mirror moves when installing the outer mirror glass, the stay could be damaged. When installing the outer mirror glass, use both hands to press together the outer mirror glass and outer mirror.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            9. Align the outer mirror glass with the outer mirror in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and while pressing in the direction of arrow (2), install pin.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003011.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003011.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            10. Install pin A and B in the same way as in Step 6.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003012.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003012.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            11. Connect the negative battery cable.
