Read the service warnings\/cautions in the Workshop Manual before handling the seat (side air bag integrated). (See <a href=\"SM353470\">AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE WARNINGS [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353469\">AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE CAUTIONS [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353491\">AIR BAG SYSTEM SERVICE CAUTIONS [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If the sliding mechanisms on both sides are not locked after assembling the seat, the seat will operate accidentally while the vehicle is driven, which could result in serious injury. After assembling the seat, shake it up and down and verify that the sliding mechanism on the both sides are locked.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the slider lever is operated after removing the seat, the slider may move by the force of the spring which assists in the slide recoil and cause damage to parts. After removing the seat, operate the slider lever being careful of the slider.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002574.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002574.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Verify that there are no malfunctions in the forward\/back slide of the seat and in the adjuster unit after installing a seat.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>When performing the procedure with a seat removed from the vehicle, perform the procedure on a clean cloth so as not to damage or dirty the seat.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When removing the seat from the vehicle or putting it back in, it can be performed smoothly by removing the head restraint.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Slide the lock in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, and while pressing the tab in the direction of arrow (2), disconnect the connector in the direction of arrow (3).<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005530.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005530.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Slide the seat to the positions where the bolts shown in the figure can be removed.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002576.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002576.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the bolts. (See <a href=\"\"#id09130080410001\">Bolt Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            6. Slide the seat to the positions where the bolts shown in the figure can be removed.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002577.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002577.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            7. Remove the bolts. (See <a href=\"\"#id09130080410001\">Bolt Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            8. Remove the seat.<\/p>\n<p>            9. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n<p>            10. When the passenger&#8217;s seat is removed, perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS and verify that no DTCs are displayed. (See <a href=\"SM353414\">DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If any DTCs are displayed, perform malfunction repair referring to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See <a href=\"SM353416\">DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            11. When the passenger&#8217;s seat is replaced with a new one, perform the occupant classification sensor calibration using the M-MDS. (See <a href=\"SM353473\">OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR CALIBRATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id09130080410001\" id=\"id09130080410001\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Bolt Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1.
