2016 – MX-5 – Body and Accessories<\/h2>\n

DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION<\/h3>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

LH<\/h4>\n

1. Fully close the door glass.<\/p>\n

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

a. Door trim (See DOOR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

b. Door module panel (See DOOR MODULE PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

c. Door key cylinder (See DOOR KEY CYLINDER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

d. Inner handle (See INNER HANDLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

e. Door latch and lock actuator (See DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4. Apply battery positive voltage and connect the ground to the door lock actuator terminals as indicated in the table below and verify the operation condition.<\/p>\n
