2016 – MX-5 – Body and Accessories<\/h2>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

KEYLESS RECEIVER INSPECTION<\/h3>\n

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

a. Wind blocker (See WIND BLOCKER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

b. Seat (LH) (See SEAT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

c. Scuff plate (LH) (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

d. Tire house trim (LH) (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

e. Side shelf (LH) (See SIDE SHELF REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3. Disconnect the connector from the keyless receiver.<\/p>\n

4. Remove the keyless receiver. (See KEYLESS RECEIVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

5. Reconnect the connector.<\/p>\n

6. Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

7. Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table (reference).<\/p>\n
