Open the trunk lid.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the trunk end trim. (See <a href=\"SM356202\">TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the fuel-filler lid lock actuator. (See <a href=\"SM356137\">FUEL-FILLER LID LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            5. While pressing the tabs of the fuel-filler lid opener in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, press it in the direction of arrow (2) to detach it from the body.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002816.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002816.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the fuel-filler lid opener.<\/p>\n<p>            7.
