OUTER HANDLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Driver’s Side<\/h4>\n

1. Fully close the door glass.<\/p>\n

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

a. Door trim (See DOOR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

b. Door module panel (See DOOR MODULE PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

c. Door key cylinder (See DOOR KEY CYLINDER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4. Disconnect the keyless antenna connector. (with advanced keyless entry system)<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

5. While pulling the outer handle bracket pin in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull the outer handle in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the outer handle bracket pin and the outer handle.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

6. Remove the outer handle in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

7. While pressing the tabs of the clip in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, press it in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the connector tabs from the outer handle bracket. (with advanced keyless entry system)<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

8. Loosen the screw securing the outer handle bracket.<\/p>\n
