Remove the double-sided adhesive tape applied to the A-pillar garnisih.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Clean and degrease the double-sided adhesive tape application area of the A-pillar garnisih.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Affix the double-sided adhesive tapes to the position shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005480.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005480.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Open the door.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Open the convertible top.<\/p>\n<p>            6. Clean and degrease the double-sided adhesive tape application areas of the body.<\/p>\n<p>            7. Peel off the backing of the double-sided adhesive tapes.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Replace all the clips with new ones when reusing the A-pillar garnish. Otherwise, the A-pillar garnish may not be installed normally.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            8. Install clip A and clips B to the A-pillar garnish. (when reusing A-pillar garnish)<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00006593.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00006593.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            9. Install the A-pillar garnish by pressing it in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00006594.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00006594.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            10. Press the A-pillar garnish to adhere the double-sided adhesive tapes.<\/p>\n<p>            11. Install the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Windshield garnish (See <a href=\"SM356173\">WINDSHIELD GARNISH REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Front header trim (See <a href=\"SM356214\">FRONT HEADER TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              c. Female wedge (See <a href=\"SM356161\">FEMALE WEDGE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              d. A-pillar trim (See <a href=\"SM356198\">A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            12. Connect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id09160045370002\" id=\"id09160045370002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Not Reusing A-pillar Garnish<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Open the door.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Open the convertible top.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Clean and degrease the double-sided adhesive tape application area of the body.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Peel off the backing from the double-sided adhesive tape applied to the A-pillar garnish.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Replace all the clips with new ones when reusing the A-pillar garnish. Press the A-pillar garnish to adhere the double-sided adhesive tapes.<\/p>\n<p>            8. Install the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a.
