2016 – MX-5 – Body and Accessories<\/h2>\n

HEADER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

1. While pressing the top handles in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull and remove them in the direction of arrow (2).<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Remove the top lock cover.(See TOP LOCK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3. Remove the fasteners.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

4. Partially peel back the link weatherstrip No.1.<\/p>\n

5. Hold the top lock and top lock lever using a hand and keep them in the condition shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

6. Move the header cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it so that it does not contact the top lock.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
