Open the convertible top.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. A-pillar trim (See <a href=\"SM356198\">A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Female wedge (See <a href=\"SM356161\">FEMALE WEDGE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              c. Front header trim (See <a href=\"SM356214\">FRONT HEADER TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the nuts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003255.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003255.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver is inserted too deeply when detaching windshield garnish clips A and clips B, it could damage the windshield. When detaching them, be careful not to scratch the windshield.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            5. Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure, rotate it in the direction of the arrows and detach windshield garnish clips A and clips B.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003256.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003256.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the windshield garnish.<\/p>\n<p>            7.
