COLUMN COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Upper Column Cover<\/h4>\n

1. Lower the steering wheel to the bottommost position.<\/p>\n

2. Remove the upper column cover in the direction of the arrow, and detach the pins, tabs, and guides of the upper column cover from the lower column cover.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

3. Remove the upper column cover.<\/p>\n

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Lower Column Cover<\/h4>\n

1. Remove the screws.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Open the lower column cover in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, move the lower column cover in the direction of arrow (2), and detach the tabs of the light switch and the wiper and washer switch from the lower column cover.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

3. Lower the tilt lever to the bottommost position.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

4. Move the lower column cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it while pulling out the guide.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
