Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the fasteners.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002758.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002758.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the trunk end trim in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002759.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002759.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Disconnect the trunk compartment light connector and remove the wiring harness.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the trunk compartment light when replacing the trunk end trim. (See <a href=\"SM356273\">TRUNK COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            6.
