2016 – MX-5 – Body and Accessories<\/h2>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

SUNVISOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

1. Open the convertible top.<\/p>\n

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

a. A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

b. Female wedge (See FEMALE WEDGE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

c. Front header trim (See FRONT HEADER TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4. Remove the screw.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

5. Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

6. Rotate the tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure while moving the sunvisor in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the pin from the front header trim.<\/p>\n

7. Remove the sunvisor.<\/p>\n

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
