2016 – MX-5 – Body and Accessories<\/h2>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

AUTO LEVELING SENSOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2. While pressing the clip A tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip A in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip A tabs from the auto leveling sensor.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

3. While pressing the clip B tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip B in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip B tabs from the auto leveling sensor.<\/p>\n

4. Disconnect the connector.<\/p>\n

5. Remove the nut.<\/p>\n

6. Remove the bolt.<\/p>\n

7. Pull out the hook from the rear crossmember.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

8. Pull out the stud bolt from the lower lateral link and remove the auto leveling sensor.<\/p>\n

9. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n

10. Perform headlight auto leveling system initialization. (See HEADLIGHT AUTO LEVELING SYSTEM INITIALIZATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n
