(See <a href=\"SM353466\">CLOCK SPRING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353488\">CLOCK SPRING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Remove the column cover. (See <a href=\"SM356189\">COLUMN COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Connect the plus (+) end of a tester to steering angle sensor terminal A and the minus (-) end of the tester to terminal B (ground).<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ADEJJW00009639.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ADEJJW00009639.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/p>\n<p>            4. Turn the steering wheel to the right and left.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Verify that the voltage between steering angle sensor terminals A and B (ground) is as indicated in the table.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM2ZZW00010661.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM2ZZW00010661.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the voltage can be verified as indicated in the table, go to the next step.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If not as indicated in the table, replace the clock spring. (See <a href=\"SM353466\">CLOCK SPRING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353488\">CLOCK SPRING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            6. Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n<p>            7. Connect the plus (+) end of a tester to steering angle sensor terminal C and the minus (-) end of the tester to terminal B (ground).<\/p>\n<p>            8. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/p>\n<p>            9. Turn the steering wheel to the right and left.<\/p>\n<p>            10. Verify that the voltage between steering angle sensor terminals C and B (ground) is as indicated in the table.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM2ZZW00010662.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM2ZZW00010662.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If not as indicated in the table, replace the clock spring.
