2016 – MX-5 – Body and Accessories<\/h2>\n

BACK-UP LIGHT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2. Remove the rear splash shield. (See REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3. Disconnect the connector.<\/p>\n

Back-up light (LH)<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Back-up light (RH)<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

4. Remove the screws.<\/p>\n

5. While sliding clip A in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull clip A in the direction of arrow (2) to detach it from the back-up light.<\/p>\n

6. While pressing the clip B tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip B in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip B tabs from the back-up light.<\/p>\n

7. Remove the back-up light.<\/p>\n

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
