Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Drain the washer fluid.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the procedure is performed with washer fluid in the washer tank, the washer fluid may leak out. Drain the washer fluid before performing the procedure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            3. Remove the nut.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004679.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004679.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the bolt.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Pull cooler pipe B out from the washer tank hook.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004680.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004680.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Lift the washer tank in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004681.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004681.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            7. Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004682.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004682.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            8. Disconnect the washer hose from the washer motor.<\/p>\n<p>            9. Pull the washer hose out from the washer tank hook.<\/p>\n<p>            10. Remove the washer tank.<\/p>\n<p>            11. When replacing the washer tank, remove the washer motor. (See <a href=\"SM356294\">WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the washer motor is not malfunctioning, install the washer motor to a new washer tank.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            12. Install in the reverse order of removal.<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id09190080170002\" id=\"id09190080170002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>With Washer Fluid-level Sensor<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Drain the washer fluid.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the procedure is performed with washer fluid in the washer tank, the washer fluid may leak out. Drain the washer fluid before performing the procedure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            3. Remove the nut.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004683.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004683.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the bolt.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Pull cooler pipe B out from the washer tank hook.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004684.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004684.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Lift the washer tank in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004685.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004685.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            7. Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004686.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004686.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            8. Disconnect the washer hose from the washer motor.<\/p>\n<p>            9. Pull the washer hose out from the washer tank hook.<\/p>\n<p>            10. Remove the washer tank.<\/p>\n<p>            11. When replacing the washer tank, remove the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Washer motor (See <a href=\"SM356294\">WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Washer fluid-level sensor (See <a href=\"SM356285\">WASHER FLUID-LEVEL SENSOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the above parts are not malfunctioning, install the above parts to a new washer tank.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            12.
