2016 – MX-5 – Body and Accessories<\/h2>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

WOOFER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

a. Scuff plate (passenger’s side) (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

b. Front side trim (passenger’s side) (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

c. A-pillar trim (passenger’s side) (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

d. Passenger-side lower panel (See PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

e. Selector lever knob (AT) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

f. Shift lever knob (MT)<\/p>\n

g. Shift panel compartment (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

h. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

i. Parking brake lever boot panel (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER BOOT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

j. Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

k. Front console panel (See FRONT CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

l. Front console compartment (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

m. Front cup holder bracket (See FRONT CUP HOLDER BRACKET REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

n. Foot support (See FOOT SUPPORT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3. Disconnect the connector.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

4. Remove the nuts.<\/p>\n

5. Remove the bolt.<\/p>\n

6. Remove the woofer.<\/p>\n

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
