2016 – MX-5 – Body and Accessories<\/h2>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

ANTENNA FEEDER NO.2 REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n

a. Selector lever knob (AT) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

b. Shift lever knob (MT)<\/p>\n

c. Shift panel compartment (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

d. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

e. Parking brake lever boot panel (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER BOOT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

f. Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

g. Front console panel (See FRONT CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

h. Front console compartment (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

i. Front cup holder bracket (See FRONT CUP HOLDER BRACKET REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

j. Seat (RH) (See SEAT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

k. Scuff plate (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

l. Front side trim (RH) (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

m. Front seat back bar garnish (See SEAT BACK BAR GARNISH REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

n. Quarter trim (See QUARTER TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

o. Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

p. Wind blocker (See WIND BLOCKER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

q. Roof hook lever (See ROOF HOOK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

r. Back trim (See BACK TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

s. Side shelf (RH) (See SIDE SHELF REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

t. Audio amplifier (with Bose \u00ae<\/sup>) (See AUDIO AMPLIFIER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

u. Audio amplifier bracket (with Bose \u00ae<\/sup>) (See AUDIO AMPLIFIER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

v. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

w. Partition board (See PARTITION BOARD REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

x. Trunk side trim (RH) (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

y. Lap pre-tensioner seat belt cover (with lap pre-tensioner seat belt) (RH) (See SEAT BELT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

z. Lower anchor installation bolt on the seat belt (RH) (See SEAT BELT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

aa. Passenger-side floor covering No.1 (See FLOOR COVERING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

ab. Passenger-side floor covering No.2 (See FLOOR COVERING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3. Perform the following procedure for vehicles with the center display.<\/p>\n

a. Remove the A-pillar trim. (RH) (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

b. Remove the passenger-side lower panel. (See PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

c. Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

d. Pull out the wiring harness clips.<\/p>\n

e. Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

f. Move the tuner and amplifier unit (TAU) in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and detach the guide from the body.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

g. Move the tuner and amplifier unit (TAU) in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure and detach the positioning pin from the body.<\/p>\n

h. Move the tuner and amplifier unit (TAU) to the position where the antenna feeder No.2 connectors can be disconnected.<\/p>\n

4. Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n

5. Remove clips in the position shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

6. Remove clips in the position shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

7. Remove clips in the position shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

8. Disconnect the connector.<\/p>\n

9. Remove antenna feeder No.2.<\/p>\n

10. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
