{"id":10637,"date":"2017-06-08T04:12:52","date_gmt":"2017-06-08T04:12:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mazdaman.x10host.com\/sm356335\/"},"modified":"2017-06-08T04:12:52","modified_gmt":"2017-06-08T04:12:52","slug":"sm356335","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/chroot-me.in\/16ND\/sm356335\/","title":{"rendered":"Bluetooth\u00c2\u00ae UNIT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"node node SERVICE_MANUALS\">\n<h1 class=\"im-content-title\">Bluetooth\u00ae UNIT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h1>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"textleft\">\n<div class=\"attr CONTENT c2\">\n<div class=\"content\">\n          <link rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text\/css\" href=\"style.css\" media=\"screen\"><a class=\"prevPage\" href=\"SM356334\">&lt; Previous<\/a> <a class=\"nextPage\" href=\"SM356336\">Next &gt;<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>2016 &#8211; MX-5 &#8211; Body and Accessories<\/h2>\n<p><a name=\"id092000833000\" id=\"id092000833000\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Bluetooth\u00ae UNIT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The audio unit determines the presence\/non-presence of a Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit and records it based on the communication status when the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on) or to the ACC position for the first time after the negative battery cable is connected.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If the negative battery cable is connected while the audio unit has recorded the non-presence of the Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit and thereafter a Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit is installed, the installed Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit will not operate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>When installing or removing the Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit, always disconnect the negative battery cable, and after the servicing is completed, switch the ignition to ACC or ON (engine off or on) to allow the audio unit to record the presence\/non-presence of the Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> pairing information recorded in the Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit cannot be written to a new Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit. Therefore, the Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> pairing information will be eliminated if the Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit is replaced. Before replacing the Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit, explain to the customer that the Bluetooth<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> pairing resetting is required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Scuff plate (passenger&#8217;s side) (See <a href=\"SM356211\">SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Front side trim (passenger&#8217;s side) (See <a href=\"SM356199\">FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              c. A-pillar trim (passenger&#8217;s side) (See <a href=\"SM356198\">A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              d. Passenger-side lower panel (See <a href=\"SM356210\">PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Disconnect the connectors.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002904.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002904.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Pull out the wiring harness clips.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the bolt.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002905.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002905.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Move the Bluetooth <sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit component in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and detach the guide from the body.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002906.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002906.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            7. Move the Bluetooth <sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit component in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure and detach the positioning pin from the body.<\/p>\n<p>            8. Remove the Bluetooth <sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit component in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002907.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002907.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            9. Remove the screws.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002908.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00002908.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            10. Remove the Bluetooth <sup>\u00ae<\/sup> unit.<\/p>\n<p>            11.
