2016 – MX-5 – Body and Accessories<\/h2>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

ROD ANTENNA REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2. Remove the service hole cover on the trunk side trim (RH).<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

3. Remove the nut.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

4. Disconnect the connector.<\/p>\n

5. Remove the mounting nut using snap ring pliers.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

6. Remove the spacer.<\/p>\n

7. Remove the rod antenna in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
