However, the engine cannot be started and the steering cannot be unlocked.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>In order to perform a forced ignition ON, the M-MDS is necessary. If the servicing is being done outside of an Authorized Mazda dealership, contact an Authorized Mazda dealership for instructions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Verify that the vehicle is in accordance with the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Communication between start stop unit and M-MDS is enabled.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>There are no remote transmitters in the vehicle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>All the doors, hood, and trunk lid are closed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Get PCM part number from As-built site.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Select &#8220;Manual Vehicle Entry&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Select the &#8220;All other&#8221; from Vehicle list.<\/p>\n<p>            6. Input the PCM part number on the following screen.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004590.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004590.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            7. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Select the &#8220;Body&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Select the &#8220;Special Ignition ON&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            8. Perform the procedure according to the directions on the screen.<\/p>\n<p>            9. Delete the session, but keep the ignition ON.<\/p>\n<p>            10.
