Read the service warnings\/cautions in the Workshop Manual before handling the seat (side air bag integrated). Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more.(See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the seat.(See <a href=\"SM356082\">SEAT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Apply protective tape to the positions shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005792.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005792.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Using a plastic hammer, tap a wood slab in several passes in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the recliner lever knob.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005793.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005793.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5. Move the seat side cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and disengage the clip.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005794.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005794.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Insert the remover tool to the positions shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005795.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005795.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            7. Move the remover tool in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and detach the tab.<\/p>\n<p>            8. Move the seat side cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and unhook the hook.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005796.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005796.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            9. Move the seat side cover in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove it.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005797.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005797.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            10.
