{"id":8573,"date":"2017-06-08T04:12:56","date_gmt":"2017-06-08T04:12:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mazdaman.x10host.com\/sh13286\/"},"modified":"2017-06-08T04:12:56","modified_gmt":"2017-06-08T04:12:56","slug":"sh13286","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/chroot-me.in\/16ND\/sh13286\/","title":{"rendered":"AIR BAG SYSTEM WARNING ALARM [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"node node SERVICE_HIGHLIGHTS\">\n    <\/p>\n<div class=\"textleft\">\n<div class=\"attr CONTENT c1\">\n<div class=\"content\">\n          <link rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text\/css\" href=\"style.css\" media=\"screen\"><a class=\"prevPage\" href=\"SH13285\">&lt; Previous<\/a> <a class=\"nextPage\" href=\"SH13287\">Next &gt;<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>2016 &#8211; MX-5 &#8211; Restraints<\/h2>\n<p><a name=\"id0810b2500400\" id=\"id0810b2500400\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>AIR BAG SYSTEM WARNING ALARM [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM]<\/h3>\n<p><a name=\"id0810b250040001\" id=\"id0810b250040001\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Purpose<\/h4>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The air bag system warning alarm notifies the driver that a malfunction occurred in the air bag system if a malfunction occurs in the air bag\/seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id0810b250040002\" id=\"id0810b250040002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Function<\/h4>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When the SAS control module detects DTC B00D2:01 or B00D2:29 (air bag\/seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light (transmission related error)), it sends an air bag system warning alarm request signal to the instrument cluster if DTCs other than DTC B00D2:01 or B00D2:29 (except DTCs which do not turn on air bag\/seat belt pre-tensioner system warning light) are detected.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUN00000726.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUN00000726.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When the air bag system warning alarm request signal sent by CAN communication from the SAS control module is received, the instrument cluster activates the buzzer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The buzzer for the air bag system warning alarm has the following activation patterns as shown in the table.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUN00001614.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUN00001614.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id0810b250040003\" id=\"id0810b250040003\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Construction<\/h4>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The air bag system warning alarm sounds a buzzer in the instrument cluster.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id0810b250040004\" id=\"id0810b250040004\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Operation<\/h4>\n<p>            1. When the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on), the instrument cluster receives (1) the air bag system warning alarm request signal from the SAS control module.<\/p>\n<p>            2. The instrument cluster microcomputer turns the transistor on (2) based on the air bag system warning alarm request signal.<\/p>\n<p>            3.
