type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The PCM detects the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas based on the A\/F sensor signal. By intentionally increasing\/decreasing the fuel injection amount, the PCM controls the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas to rich or lean and monitors the response speed of the A\/F sensor to sudden changes in the oxygen concentration. If the response speed of the signal input from the A\/F sensor is slow while switching repeatedly between rich and lean, the PCM determines an A\/F sensor malfunction and stores a DTC.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM6ZZW00011809.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" Verification Procedure<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Warm up the engine to allow the engine coolant temperature to reach <b>80 \u00b0C {176 \u00b0F} or more<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Start the engine and leave it idling for <b>1 min<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Shift to 3rd gear and drive the vehicle for <b>10 min<\/b> at an engine speed of <b>1,500 rpm or more<\/b> and a vehicle speed of <b>50 km\/h
