Throttle valve actuator control throttle body range\/performance problem<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

DETECTION CONDITION<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

  • \n

    The PCM compares the actual TP with initial setting TP when the ignition is switched off. If the actual TP is higher than the initial setting TP, the PCM determines that there is a throttle valve return spring malfunction.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n Diagnostic support note<\/b><\/p>\n

      This is a continuous monitor (CCM).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      The check engine light illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      FREEZE FRAME DATA\/Snapshot data is available.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      DTC is stored in the PCM memory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
