TP sensor No.1\/No.2 voltage correlation problem<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

DETECTION CONDITION<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

  • \n

    The PCM compares the input voltage from TP sensor No.1 with the input voltage from TP sensor No.2. If the difference is more than the specification, the PCM determines that there is a TP sensor No.1\/No.2 voltage correlation problem.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n Diagnostic support note<\/b><\/p>\n
    • \n

      This is a continuous monitor (CCM).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      The check engine light illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      FREEZE FRAME DATA\/Snapshot data is available.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      DTC is stored in the PCM memory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION<\/b><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

    Restricts the upper limit of the engine speed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Stops the drive-by-wire control (throttle valve is open at approx. 8 \u00b0<\/b> by return spring force).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

    TP sensor No.2 malfunction<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    PCM malfunction<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
