Explanation (DTC Detection Outline)<\/h4>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n              <b>P0011:00<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>With the preconditions met, the PCM verifies the conformity of the actual timing relative to the target valve timing. If it does not conform to the normal determination range (difference between target valve timing and actual valve timing is <b>15 degrees or less<\/b>) during the malfunction determination period (<b>approx. 10 s<\/b>), even if the target valve timing is set to the retard side, the PCM determines an excess advance malfunction condition and stores a DTC.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM6ZZW00011803.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM6ZZW00011803.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n              <b>P0012:00<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>With the preconditions met, the PCM verifies the conformity of the actual timing relative to the target valve timing. Verification Procedure<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Warm up the engine to allow the engine coolant temperature to reach <b>80 \u00b0C {176 \u00b0F} or more<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Match the engine coolant temperature in the recorded FREEZE FRAME DATA\/snapshot data, the vehicle speed, and engine speed values to the best extent possible while driving the vehicle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Try to reproduce the malfunction by driving the vehicle for <b>5 min<\/b> based on the values in the FREEZE
