Otherwise, the SST installation area of the cylinder head may be damaged due to excess weight. Only suspend the engine after separating the engine and transmission.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Applying excessive force (force of 100 N {10.2 kgf, 22.5 lbf} or more) to the electric variable valve timing motor\/driver may cause a malfunction. When servicing, be careful not to apply excessive force to the electric variable valve timing motor\/driver using other parts or tools.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Install the <b>SST<\/b> and the following bolt to the position shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Engine rear side<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004297.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004297.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Bolt:<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>part number 99794 1025 or an M10 \u00d7 1.25, length 25 mm {0.98 in}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n                <b>Tightening torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>38\u201452 N\u00b7m {3.9\u20145.3 kgf\u00b7m, 29\u201438 ft\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Engage the hooks of the <b>SST (49 L017 5A0)<\/b> to the <b>SST (49 UN30 3050)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM6ZZW00011714.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM6ZZW00011714.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Do not lift up the engine.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            3. To ensure the safety of the work (control engine and transmission sway), set a hoist.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the engine mount rubber and engine mount bracket. (See <a href=\"SM352696\">ENGINE MOUNT DISASSEMBLY\/ASSEMBLY [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the exhaust system. (See <a href=\"SM352752\">EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the oil pipes and oil hoses. (AT) (See <a href=\"SM353163\">OIL COOLER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            7. Remove the starter. (See <a href=\"SM352792\">STARTER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            8. Fix the drive plate using the crankshaft pulley lock bolt. (AT)<\/p>\n<p>            9. Remove the torque converter installation nut from the starter installation hole. (AT) (See <a href=\"SM353167\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SJ6A-EL]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            10. Disconnect the engine and transmission, and lower only the engine from the engine lifter. (See <a href=\"SM353149\">TRANSMISSION REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [M66M-D]<\/a> (MT).) (See <a href=\"SM353167\">AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SJ6A-EL]<\/a> (AT).)<\/p>\n<p>            11. Remove the intake-air system. (See <a href=\"SM352729\">INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            12. Remove the oil separator. (See <a href=\"SM352774\">POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) VALVE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            13. Remove the knock sensor (KS). (See <a href=\"SM352820\">KNOCK SENSOR (KS) REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            14. Remove the fuel injectors. (See <a href=\"SM352734\">FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            15. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor. (See <a href=\"SM352810\">CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            16. Remove the high pressure fuel pump. (See <a href=\"SM352739\">HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            17. Remove the electric variable valve timing motor\/driver. (See <a href=\"SM352697\">ELECTRIC VARIABLE VALVE TIMING MOTOR\/DRIVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            18. Remove the water outlet component. (See <a href=\"SM352687\">TIMING CHAIN REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            19. Remove the bolt and nut shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004298.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004298.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            20. Remove the drive belt auto tensioner. (See <a href=\"SM352677\">DRIVE BELT AUTO TENSIONER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            21. Remove the generator. (See <a href=\"SM352777\">GENERATOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            22. Remove the oil filter. (See <a href=\"SM352707\">OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            23. Remove the engine oil solenoid valve. (See <a href=\"SM352700\">ENGINE OIL SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            24. Remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor. (See <a href=\"SM352802\">CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            25. Remove the dipstick.<\/p>\n<p>            26. Remove the seal cover. (See <a href=\"SM352695\">SEAL COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            27. Remove the ignition coil\/ion sensors. (See <a href=\"SM352788\">IGNITION COIL\/ION SENSOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            28. Remove the emission harness.<\/p>\n<p>            29. Remove the water pump drive belt. (See <a href=\"SM352691\">DRIVE BELT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            30. Remove the water pump housing and water pump body. (See <a href=\"SM352714\">WATER PUMP REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            31. Remove the clutch cover and clutch disc. (MT) (See <a href=\"SM353139\">CLUTCH UNIT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            32. Remove in the order indicated in the table.<\/p>\n<p>            33.
