Remove the thermostat. (See <a href=\"SM352717\">THERMOSTAT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Visually check that the thermostat valve is closed.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Place the thermostat in water.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">WARNING:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>During inspection, the thermostat and water are extremely hot and can cause severe burns. Do not touch the thermostat and water.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            4.
