Due to the following dangers occurring with a fuel spray, always complete the \u201cFuel Line Safety Procedure\u201d to prevent the fuel from spraying.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<ul type=\"square\">\n<li>\n<p>Fuel may cause irritation if it comes in contact with skin and eyes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>If fuel ignites and causes a fire, it may lead to serious injury or death, and damage to property and facilities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>\n<p>A person charged with static electricity could cause a fire or explosion, resulting in death or serious injury. Before draining fuel, make sure to discharge static electricity by touching the vehicle body.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Disconnecting\/connecting the quick release connector without cleaning it may cause damage to the fuel pipe and quick release connector. Always clean the quick release connector joint area before disconnecting\/connecting using a cloth or soft brush, and make sure that it is free of foreign material.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Level the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Complete the \u201cBEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION\u201d. (See <a href=\"SM352744\">BEFORE SERVICE PRECAUTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Open the fuel-filler lid.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Trunk end trim (See <a href=\"SM356202\">TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Trunk covering (See <a href=\"SM356204\">TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              c. Partition board (See <a href=\"SM356227\">PARTITION BOARD REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              d. Trunk side trim (See <a href=\"SM356203\">TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.<\/p>\n<p>            6. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n<p>            7. Complete the \u201cAFTER SERVICE PRECAUTION\u201d.
