To prevent this, clean the connecting area before reconnecting a disconnected connector.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id0116z880550002\" id=\"id0116z880550002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h5>Quick Release Connector Position and Type<\/h5>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005284.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005284.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"id0116z880550003\" id=\"id0116z880550003\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h5>Removal<\/h5>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Be careful not to damage the evaporative pipe when unlocking the retainer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the quick release connector is removed, replace the retainer with a new one.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Set the finger parallel to the quick release connector.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ACMZZW00000139.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ACMZZW00000139.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The quick release connector can be removed by pushing the center of the retainer tabs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The retainer is attached to the evaporative pipe even after the connector is disconnected.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Hold the center of the retainer tabs with the finger and press the retainer.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Pull the connector side and disconnect the quick release connector.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Cover the disconnected quick release connector and evaporative pipe with vinyl sheeting or a similar material to prevent it from getting scratched or dirty.<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id0116z880550004\" id=\"id0116z880550004\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h5>Installation<\/h5>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the quick release connector O-ring is damaged or has slipped, replace the piping component.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A checker tab is integrated with the quick release connector for new evaporative hoses. Remove the checker tab from the quick release connector after the connector is completely engaged with the evaporative pipe.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AC3UUW00000903.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AC3UUW00000903.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Inspect the evaporative hose and evaporative pipe sealing surface for damage and deformation.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If there is any malfunction, replace it with a new one.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the sealing surface of the evaporative pipe.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Install a new retainer to the quick release connector.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Reconnect the hose straight to the pipe until a click is heard.<\/p>\n<p>            5.
