2016 – MX-5 – Engine<\/h2>\n

DRIVE SELECTION SWITCH REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/h3>\n

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

2. Remove the selector lever knob. (See AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

3. Remove the shift panel component. (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

4. Remove the upper panel. (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.<\/p>\n

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n
