Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the MAF sensor\/IAT sensor No.1. (See <a href=\"SM352834\">MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR\/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR NO.1 REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Visually inspect the MAF sensor for the following:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Damage, cracks, dirt<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Rusted sensor terminal<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Bent sensor terminal<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<ul type=\"square\">\n<li>\n<p>If there is any malfunction, repair or replace the MAF sensor\/IAT sensor No.1. (See <a href=\"SM352834\">MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR\/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR NO.1 REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id0140f480070002\" id=\"id0140f480070002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Voltage Inspection<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Remove the MAF sensor\/IAT sensor No.1 without disconnect the connector. (See <a href=\"SM352834\">MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR\/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR NO.1 REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC\u20132.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).<\/p>\n<p>            4. As the air gradually approaches the MAF detection part of the MAF sensor\/IAT sensor No.1, verify that the MAF sensor output voltage (PID: MAF) varies. (See <a href=\"SM352608\">ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.0)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM2ZZW00011757.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM2ZZW00011757.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If not as verified, replace the MAF sensor\/IAT sensor No.1.
