When replacing the fuel tank pressure sensor, replace it together with the charcoal canister as a single unit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the fuel tank pressure sensor connector. (See <a href=\"SM352753\">CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Disconnect the quick release connectors and remove the evaporative hose component (fuel tank side). (See <a href=\"SM352769\">QUICK RELEASE CONNECTOR (EMISSION SYSTEM) REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM352753\">CHARCOAL CANISTER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).<\/p>\n<p>            5. Plug one end of the charcoal canister and verify that the output voltage from the fuel tank pressure sensor changes when pressure is applied from the other end.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If not as specified, replace the charcoal canister.
