Connect the M-MDS to the DLC\u20132.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Start the engine and warm it up completely.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Access the following PIDs using the M-MDS. (See <a href=\"SM352608\">ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [PCM (SKYACTIV-G 2.0)]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<ul type=\"square\">\n<li>\n<p>VSS (Vehicle speed)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>RPM (Engine speed)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>O2S11 (A\/F sensor output current)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            4. Drive the vehicle and decelerate the engine speed by releasing the accelerator pedal fully when the engine speed is <b>3,000 rpm or more<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Verify that the A\/F sensor output current (PID: O2S11) is <b>0.25 mA or more<\/b> while decelerating as shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM3UUW00007248.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM3UUW00007248.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If not as verified, replace the A\/F sensor. (See <a href=\"SM352833\">AIR FUEL RATIO (A\/F) SENSOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id0140f489960002\" id=\"id0140f489960002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Resistance Inspection (A\/F Sensor Heater)<\/h4>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">WARNING:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>A hot engine and exhaust system can cause severe burns. Turn off the engine and wait until they are cool before removing the exhaust system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Do not allow flammable objects such as the taping for bundling the wiring harness to come into contact with the exhaust system such as the exhaust manifold and silencer which reach high temperatures. Otherwise, it could cause fire damage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Lift up the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the tire (FR). (See <a href=\"SM352848\">GENERAL PROCEDURES (SUSPENSION)<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Partially peel back the front mudguard No.2 (RH). (See <a href=\"SM356174\">FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the front splash shield No.1 (RH). (See <a href=\"SM356170\">FRONT SPLASH SHIELD No.1 REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the front crossmember under cover. (See <a href=\"SM356179\">FRONT CROSSMEMBER UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            7. Disconnect the A\/F sensor connector. (See <a href=\"SM352833\">AIR FUEL RATIO (A\/F) SENSOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            8. Measure the resistance between A\/F sensor terminals A and E.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003772.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003772.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If not as specified, replace the A\/F sensor.
