If the procedure using the M-MDS is used, the mis-use prevention logic is disabled.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id02120020400001\" id=\"id02120020400001\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Using Tire Pressure Monitoring System Set Switch<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Park the vehicle on safe, level ground.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Adjust all four tire pressures to the specification while the tires are cold. (See <a href=\"SM352857\">WHEEL AND TIRE SPECIFICATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Cold tires means leaving the vehicle for 1 h or, if the vehicle is driven, do so within 1.6 km {0.99 mile}.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            3. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/p>\n<p>            4. Press and hold the tire pressure monitoring system set switch.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005626.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005626.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            5. Press and hold the tire pressure monitoring system set switch until the tire pressure monitoring system warning light flashes 1 or 2 times and the indicator alarm sounds 1 time.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When the tire pressure monitoring system initialization is performed, learning initiates. Learning is completed by driving the vehicle for approx. 20 min.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>While the tire pressure monitoring system is undergoing learning, its primary functions do not operate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id02120020400002\" id=\"id02120020400002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Using M-MDS<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Park the vehicle on safe, level ground.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Adjust all four tire pressures to the specification while the tires are cold. (See <a href=\"SM352857\">WHEEL AND TIRE SPECIFICATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Cold tires means leaving the vehicle for 1 h or, if the vehicle is driven, do so within 1.6 km {0.99 mile}.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            3. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.<\/p>\n<p>            4. After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.<\/p>\n<p>              a. Select \u201cChassis\u201d<\/p>\n<p>              b. Select \u201cABS\/DSC\u201d<\/p>\n<p>              c. Select \u201cTPMS Reset\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When the tire pressure monitoring system initialization is performed, learning initiates. Learning is completed by driving the vehicle for approx. 20 min.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>While the tire pressure monitoring system is undergoing learning, its primary functions do not operate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            5.
