Disconnect the front stabilizer control link from the front lower arm. (See <a href=\"SM352866\">FRONT STABILIZER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Disconnect the front shock absorber from the front lower arm. (See <a href=\"SM352859\">FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER AND COIL SPRING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Disconnect the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle. (See <a href=\"SM353226\">TIE-ROD END REPLACEMENT<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the front lower arm. (See <a href=\"SM352864\">FRONT LOWER ARM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            5. Inspect the front lower arm for bending or damage, and the front lower arm ball joint for excessive looseness.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If there is any malfunction, replace the front lower arm. (See <a href=\"SM352864\">FRONT LOWER ARM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            6. Rotate and shake the front lower arm ball joint <b>5 times<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>            7. Measure the front lower arm ball joint initial torque and rotational torque using an Allen wrench and a torque wrench.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003397.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003397.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Front lower arm ball joint initial torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>11 N\u00b7m {112 kgf\u00b7cm, 97 in\u00b7lbf} max.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n                <b>Front lower arm ball joint rotational torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>0.5\u20143.0 N\u00b7m {5.1\u201430 kgf\u00b7cm, 4.5\u201426 in\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If not within the specification, replace the front lower arm.
