When removing\/installing the coil spring, always use the SST and be careful not to allow the coil spring to fly off.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. When working on the right side of the vehicle, remove the front suspension tower bar (RH). (With front suspension tower bar) (See <a href=\"SM352871\">FRONT SUSPENSION TOWER BAR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. When working on the left side of the vehicle, remove the front suspension tower bar (LH). (With front suspension tower bar) (See <a href=\"SM352871\">FRONT SUSPENSION TOWER BAR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the front shock absorber and coil spring. (See <a href=\"SM352859\">FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER AND COIL SPRING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Set the front shock absorber and the coil spring to the <b>SST<\/b> first, then remove the piston rod nut.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Install the front shock absorber and coil spring to the <b>SST<\/b> according to the following procedures.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The coil spring may be damaged when installing the <b>SST<\/b> to the coil spring. Install the SST to the coil spring using a rag so that the coil spring is not damaged.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>              a. Set the <b>SST<\/b> attachments (tabs) to the positions shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00003892.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00003892.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>              b. Install the front shock absorber and coil spring to the <b>SST<\/b> so that the coil spring is set to the position shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00003893.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00003893.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. Compress the coil spring using the <b>SST<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the piston rod nut.<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id02130080130002\" id=\"id02130080130002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Coil Spring Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Compress the coil spring using the <b>SST<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AR8JJW00002053.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AR8JJW00002053.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2.
