Before servicing, disconnect the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor and set it aside so that the wiring harness will not be pulled by mistake.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Drain the differential oil. (See <a href=\"SM352903\">DIFFERENTIAL OIL REPLACEMENT<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor from the hub support.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005361.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005361.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the grommet and clip of the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor wiring harness from the bracket and rear crossmember and set it aside so that it does not interfere with the servicing.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the auto leveling sensor and the auto leveling short cord as a single unit. (See <a href=\"SM356258\">AUTO LEVELING SENSOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM356278\">AUTO LEVELING SENSOR SHORT-CORD REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the rear the rear stabilizer component and the rear stabilizer control link as a single unit. (See <a href=\"SM352875\">REAR STABILIZER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            7. Remove the floor under cover. (See <a href=\"SM356176\">FLOOR UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            8. Remove the rear parking cable bracket from the rear crossmember. (See <a href=\"SM353026\">REAR PARKING BRAKE CABLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            9. Remove the rear brake caliper component and hang it in a place out of the way using a cable. (See <a href=\"SM353002\">REAR BRAKE (DISC) REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003439.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003439.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            10. Remove the rear disc plate. (See <a href=\"SM353002\">REAR BRAKE (DISC) REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            11. Disconnect the following parts from the hub support and remove the wheel hub component, dust cover, and hub support as a single unit. (See <a href=\"SM352895\">WHEEL HUB COMPONENT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005362.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005362.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>              a. Upper lateral link (See <a href=\"SM352881\">UPPER LATERAL LINK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Rear shock absorber (See <a href=\"SM352872\">REAR SHOCK ABSORBER AND COIL SPRING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              c. Lower link (See <a href=\"SM352880\">LOWER LINK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              d. Trailing link (See <a href=\"SM352883\">TRAILING LINK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              e. Lower lateral link (See <a href=\"SM352882\">LOWER LATERAL LINK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              f. Leading link (See <a href=\"SM352879\">LEADING LINK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            12. Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005363.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005363.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            13. Remove the member bracket. (With member bracket)<\/p>\n<p>            14. Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005364.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005364.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            15. Remove the tunnel member.<\/p>\n<p>            16. Remove the three way catalytic converter (TWC). (See <a href=\"SM352752\">EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"\"#id02140020403301\">TWC Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            17. Remove the propeller shaft. (See <a href=\"SM352908\">PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            18. Remove the power plant frame. (See <a href=\"SM353157\">POWER PLANT FRAME REMOVAL [M66M-D]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353158\">POWER PLANT FRAME INSTALLATION [M66M-D]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            19. Support the rear crossmember component using a jack.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003440.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003440.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">WARNING:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If the rear crossmember falls off during rear crossmember removal\/installation, it may cause serious injury or death, or vehicle damage. When removing\/installing the rear crossmember, use a jack and verify that the crossmember is securely supported.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            20. Remove the nuts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003441.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003441.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            21. Lower the jack slowly and remove the rear crossmember component.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When installing\/removing the rear crossmember, the rear crossmember may come in contact with the main silencer and rear shock absorber which may lead to part damage. Remove\/install the rear crossmember while avoiding the main silencer and rear shock absorber.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            22. Remove the rear differential mount rubber securing bolt from the rear crossmember. (See <a href=\"SM352906\">REAR DIFFERENTIAL MOUNT RUBBER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>. )<\/p>\n<p>            23. Remove the rear differential, rear differential mount rubber and rear drive shaft from the rear crossmember.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003442.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00003442.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            24. Remove the following parts from the rear crossmember.<\/p>\n<p>              a. Upper lateral link (See <a href=\"SM352881\">UPPER LATERAL LINK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Lower link (See <a href=\"SM352880\">LOWER LINK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              c. Trailing link (See <a href=\"SM352883\">TRAILING LINK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              d. Lower lateral link (See <a href=\"SM352882\">LOWER LATERAL LINK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              e. Leading link (See <a href=\"SM352879\">LEADING LINK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            25. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n<p>            26. Add differential oil. (See <a href=\"SM352903\">DIFFERENTIAL OIL REPLACEMENT<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            27. Inspect the rear wheel alignment and adjust if necessary. (See <a href=\"SM352851\">REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT<\/a>.)<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id02140020403301\" id=\"id02140020403301\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>TWC Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Install the TWC.
