Before servicing, disconnect the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor and set it aside so that the wiring harness will not be pulled by mistake.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Trunk end trim (See <a href=\"SM356202\">TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Trunk covering (See <a href=\"SM356204\">TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              c. Partition board (See <a href=\"SM356227\">PARTITION BOARD REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              d. Trunk side trim (See <a href=\"SM356203\">TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              e. Fuel-filler pipe protector (See <a href=\"SM352747\">FUEL-FILLER PIPE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor from the hub support.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004878.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004878.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Remove the grommet and clip of the rear ABS wheel speed sensor wiring harness from the bracket and rear crossmember and set it aside so that it does not interfere with the servicing.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the rear brake caliper component and suspend it in a place out of the way using a cable. (See <a href=\"SM353002\">REAR BRAKE (DISC) REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004879.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004879.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Rear disc plate (See <a href=\"SM353002\">REAR BRAKE (DISC) REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Rear shock absorber and coil spring (See <a href=\"SM352872\">REAR SHOCK ABSORBER AND COIL SPRING REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            7. Remove the auto leveling sensor and the auto leveling short cord as a single unit. (See <a href=\"SM356258\">AUTO LEVELING SENSOR REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM356278\">AUTO LEVELING SENSOR SHORT-CORD REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            8. Remove the rear stabilizer component and the rear stabilizer control link as a single unit. (See <a href=\"SM352875\">REAR STABILIZER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            9. Remove the floor under cover. (See <a href=\"SM356176\">FLOOR UNDER COVER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            10. Remove the rear parking cable bracket from the rear crossmember. (See <a href=\"SM353026\">REAR PARKING BRAKE CABLE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            11. Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005363.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005363.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            12. Remove the member bracket. (With member bracket)<\/p>\n<p>            13. Remove the bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005364.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005364.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            14. Remove the tunnel member.<\/p>\n<p>            15. Remove the following parts:<\/p>\n<p>              a. Three way catalytic converter (TWC) (See <a href=\"SM352752\">EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"\"#id03140080300003\">TWC Installation Note<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              b. Propeller shaft (See <a href=\"SM352908\">PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              c. Power plant frame (See <a href=\"SM353157\">POWER PLANT FRAME REMOVAL [M66M-D]<\/a>.) (See <a href=\"SM353158\">POWER PLANT FRAME INSTALLATION [M66M-D]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>              d. Rear crossmember component (See <a href=\"SM352877\">REAR CROSSMEMBER REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            16. Remove in the order shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p>            17. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n<p>            18. Inspect the rear wheel alignment and adjust if necessary. Place alignment marks on the rear crossmember and rear differential mount rubber as shown in the figure before removing the bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004881.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004881.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the bolts.<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id03140080300002\" id=\"id03140080300002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Rear Differential Mount Rubber, Nut and Bolt Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>After loosening the nuts, tighten the rear differential stud bolts because they may loosen.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Tighten the rear differential stud bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004882.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004882.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Tightening torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>15???25 N\u00b7m {1.6???2.5 kgf\u00b7m, 12???18 ft\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            2. Install the rear differential mount rubber by aligning the alignment marks on the rear crossmember and rear differential mount rubber and temporarily tighten the nuts and bolts.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004881.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004881.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When newly replacing the rear differential mount rubber, place alignment marks on the new part in the same positions as the removed rear differential mount rubber.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004883.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00004883.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            3.
