Remove the vacuum hose. (See <a href=\"SM353016\">VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Verify that air can be blown from the vacuum pipe side (power brake unit side) of the vacuum hose towards the intake manifold side, and that air cannot be blown in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005080.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005080.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If there is any malfunction of the inner check valve, replace it together with the vacuum hose as a single unit. (See <a href=\"SM353016\">VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id04110080150002\" id=\"id04110080150002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Between Electric Vacuum Pump and Vacuum Pipe<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/p>\n<p>            2. Turn the steering wheel to the right until it locks.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n<p>            4. DIsconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            5. Remove the washer tank. (See <a href=\"SM356284\">WASHER TANK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            6. Remove the front mudguard No.1 and front deflector as a single unit. (See <a href=\"SM356174\">FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            7. Remove the vacuum hose. (See <a href=\"SM353016\">VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            8.
