VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/h3>\n

Between Power Brake Unit and Vacuum Pipe<\/h4>\n

1. Pinch open the clamp using pliers and disconnect the vacuum hose.<\/p>\n

2. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Vacuum hose installation note (between power brake unit and vacuum pipe)<\/a>.)

1. Install the vacuum hose as shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

1. Pinch open the clamp using pliers and disconnect the vacuum hose.<\/p>\n

Vacuum Pipe Cap<\/h4>\n

1. Pinch open the clamp using pliers and disconnect the vacuum pipe cap.<\/p>\n

1. Install the vacuum pipe cap as shown in the figure.<\/p>\n

Between Electric Vacuum Pump and Vacuum Pipe<\/h4>\n

1. Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).<\/p>\n

2. Turn the steering wheel to the right until it locks.<\/p>\n

3. Switch the ignition off.<\/p>\n

4. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

5. Remove the washer tank. (See WASHER TANK REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

6. Remove the front mudguard No.1 and front deflector as a single unit. (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.<\/p>\n

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.<\/p>\n

1. Move the retainer tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the retainer in the direction of arrow (2).<\/p>\n

2. Pull out the quick release connector straight from the electric vacuum pump and disconnect it.
