Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See <a href=\"SM352783\">NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION\/CONNECTION<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the transmission. (See <a href=\"SM353149\">TRANSMISSION REMOVAL\/INSTALLATION [M66M-D]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.<\/p>\n<p>            4. Hold the clutch unit using the <b>SSTs (49 SE01 310A, 49 E011 1A0)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005164.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005164.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. Loosen each bolt one turn at a time in a crisscross pattern until spring tension is released.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Remove the clutch cover and clutch disc.<br \/>\n          <a name=\"id05100015720002\" id=\"id05100015720002\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Pilot Bearing Removal Note<\/h4>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>The pilot bearing does not need to be removed unless you are replacing it.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Use the <b>SST (49 1285 071)<\/b> to remove the pilot bearing.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005165.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005165.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>          <a name=\"id05100015720003\" id=\"id05100015720003\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Flywheel Removal Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Hold the flywheel using the <b>SST (49 E011 1A0)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005166.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005166.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. Remove the lock bolts, and remove the flywheel.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Inspect for oil leakage from the crankshaft rear oil seal.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>If there is any malfunction, replace the crankshaft rear oil seal. (See <a href=\"SM352686\">REAR OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.0]<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id05100015720004\" id=\"id05100015720004\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Flywheel Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Clean the crankshaft thread holes.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Install the flywheel to the crankshaft, and temporarily tighten a new lock bolts.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Hold the flywheel using the <b>SST (49 E011 1A0)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005167.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005167.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Tighten the lock bolts completely in the order shown in the figure in the following 3 steps.<\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Tightening torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Step 1: 46???54 N\u00b7m {4.7???5.5 kgf\u00b7m, 34???39 ft\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Step 2: 76???84 N\u00b7m {7.8???8.5 kgf\u00b7m, 57???61 ft\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Step 3: 108???116 N\u00b7m {11.1???11.8 kgf\u00b7m, 80???85 ft\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id05100015720005\" id=\"id05100015720005\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Pilot Bearing Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Install new pilot bearing to the specified position using the following tools.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM3UUW00002083.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM3UUW00002083.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n                <b>Tool<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Snap-on brand millimeter size bushing driver set (A160M) adapter A160M7 (20???22 mm)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Use the adapter with the 20 mm side of the A160M7 (20???22 mm) facing the pilot bearing side.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n                <b>Substitution tool<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Outer diameter: 21 mm {0.83 in<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Inner diameter: 19 mm {0.75 in}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n                <b>Specified position<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Distance A of pilot bearing from crankshaft end: 1.5???2.5 mm {0.060???0.098 in}<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM2ZZW00010010.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AM2ZZW00010010.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>          <a name=\"id05100015720006\" id=\"id05100015720006\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Clutch Disc and Clutch Cover Installation Note<\/h4>\n<p>            1. Hold the clutch disc position using the <b>SST (49 SE01 310A)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005168.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005168.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            2. Hold the clutch unit using the <b>SST (49 E011 1A0)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005169.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005169.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            3. Using the following procedure, install the clutch disc and clutch cover.<\/p>\n<p>              a. Tighten the bolts completely in two or three steps in the order shown in the figure and install the clutch disc and cover.<\/p>\n<ul>\n                  <b>Tightening torque<\/b><\/p>\n<li>\n<p>25???33 N\u00b7m {2.6???3.3 kgf\u00b7m, 19???24 ft\u00b7lbf}<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            4.
