Clutch fluid contains properties which can dissolve the paint. If clutch fluid gets on a painted surface, rinse with water immediately, then wipe the area dry.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Do not mix different types of clutch fluid, otherwise the clutch may not operate normally.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Do not reuse old clutch fluid, otherwise the clutch may not operate normally.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">NOTE:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>A common reserve tank is used for the clutch system and brake system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>            1. Remove the reserve tank cap.<\/p>\n<p>            2. Connect a vinyl tube to the bleeder screw.<\/p>\n<p>            3. Turn the bleeder screw to the fully-open position by hand and drain any clutch fluid from the bleeder screw.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005802.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005802.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>            4. Turn the bleeder screw to the fully-closed position and close.<\/p>\n<p>            5. Add new clutch fluid to the MAX mark of the reserve tank.<\/p>\n<table border=\"1\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"@colsep\" bordercolor=\"#CCCCCC\" frame=\"box\" rules=\"all\">\n<tbody valign=\"\" cellspacing=\"1\" rowspan=\"\">\n<tr valign=\"\" align=\"\" cellspacing=\"\" rowspan=\"\">\n<td valign=\"middle\" align=\"center\" cellspacing=\"\" rowspan=\"\" colspan=\"NaN\">\n<p>Clutch fluid<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr valign=\"\" align=\"\" cellspacing=\"\" rowspan=\"\">\n<td valign=\"middle\" align=\"center\" cellspacing=\"\" rowspan=\"\" colspan=\"NaN\">\n<p>SAE J1703 or FMVSS116 DOT-3<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>            6. Bleed the air from the clutch.<\/p>\n<p><b><span class=\"c1\">CAUTION:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>Keep the clutch fluid level in the reserve tank at 3\/4 full or more during air bleeding.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>              a. Connect a vinyl tube to the bleeder screw.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00005901.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/ARDJJW00005901.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>              b. Place the other end of the vinyl tube in a clear container, and fill clutch fluid in the container during air bleeding.<\/p>\n<p>              c. Working with two people, one should depress the clutch pedal a few times and then depress and hold the pedal down.<\/p>\n<p>              d. While one technician depresses the clutch pedal and another technician opens the bleeder screw by hand, drain any clutch fluid containing air bubbles, and then close the bleeder screw by hand again.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005803.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005803.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>\n<p>When closing the bleeder screw, securely close the bleeder screw until the projection is turned to the position shown in the figure.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005804.GIF\"><img decoding=\"async\" align=\"absmiddle\" border=\"0\" src=\"\/16ND\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/AMXUUW00005804.GIF\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>              e. Continue to perform Steps 3 and 4 until no air comes from the vinyl tube.<\/p>\n<p>              f.
